Accessibility Statement

The Body Bar MD is committed to making our website welcoming and usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we design and maintain this site.

Effective July 27, 2026
01

Our commitment

We want every visitor to be able to find information, explore our treatments, and reach out to us with ease. We work to remove barriers that could prevent people with disabilities from using this website and review accessibility as part of our ongoing site maintenance.

02

Conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), help make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of abilities. WCAG 2.1 AA is our target rather than a guarantee, and we continue to work toward it.

03

What we've done

Steps we have taken to support accessibility on this site include:

  • using semantic, well-structured HTML and clear headings;
  • supporting keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators;
  • choosing text and color combinations that aim to meet WCAG AA contrast;
  • providing descriptive alternative text for meaningful images;
  • honoring the “reduce motion” setting so animations are minimized for visitors who prefer less movement;
  • labeling form fields and announcing errors and status messages to assistive technology; and
  • designing for a range of screen sizes and devices.
04

Known limitations and ongoing work

Some content and features are provided by third parties, such as our embedded map and analytics tools, and their accessibility is not fully within our control. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continue to test and improve the site over time. If you encounter a barrier, we would like to hear from you.

05

How to report an issue

If you have trouble accessing any part of this website, or need information in a different format, please contact us and let us know the page and the issue you experienced. We will do our best to provide the information you need and to address the barrier.

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback promptly.
