Our Medical Director, Dr. Mohamad Zanbrakji, is a board-certified general surgeon and critical care physician, trained at Stamford Hospital and Yale New Haven Hospital, with more than a decade of clinical practice and a focus on medical weight loss and metabolic health. Every treatment protocol at The Body Bar MD is designed and overseen under that standard.
He shares that leadership with Dr. Faran Ghumman, a physician board-certified in both internal medicine and obesity medicine, who leads the wellness side of the practice. Behind both physicians, a medical board reviews our protocols for safety and quality.
It means your laser settings aren't copied from a template. Your weight loss program starts with labs, not a sales pitch. And your consultation may end with us telling you a treatment isn't right for you, because that's what a physician does.
